Guide to Benissa, Costa Blanca

It is found between Valencia city and Alicante city with its nearest neighbouring town to be Calpe and easily communicable with other places like Benidorm, Altea, Denia and Torrevieja using either the national highway N/332 or the Pay highway AP-7, and other public transports. Its excellent climatical conditions year round has given it a beautiful landscape which many tourist take advantage of.

It has over 4 kilometres of coast which has proportioned it with a wide range of activities like quiet coves hidden among pine trees or beaches found after climbing a small cliff. Some of these hot spots are el Abogat, el Baladrar, Els Pinets or La Fustera. Look for them!

Benissa is one of the oldest towns on the Costa Blanca coast of Spain. Now known mainly as one of the more popular tourist destinations of the Costa Blanca it also has a lot of history and monuments with the town centre retaining many historic buildings and small winding, cobbled streets.

Benissa merges into the town of Moraira to the north and merges into Calpe to the south. It enjoys a very scenic rugged coastline of over 4 kilometres with rocky coves, cliffs and pebbled beaches. Benissa is also only 30 minutes drive to the Costa Blanca's biggest tourist destination, the town of Benidorm with its many attractions. Benissa is only an hour north of Alicante airport.
